Our PTA color run is today! Please arrive at 5:30 pm to register. We'll start at 5:45. This is a FUN run and won't necessarily be a "race". Popsicles will be given afterward. Wear clothes that can be covered in colored chalk powder. (White is fun as it shows the colors). It DOES wash out. Sunglasses are great but not required. The location is the lower parking of the mill site. Drive down Clay Hill and you'll see a sign to the right. It's next to a bunch of gated garbage cans.
There will be a flat tire repair brought to MES by Bike Utah this Friday. Bring your bike to MES on May 17th from 1:15 - 3:00. They will fix up your flat tires and get your bike ready to ride for the summer. Any volunteers would be greatly appreciated.
On Wednesday MES will be serving Bison Burgers, that the meat was supplied by JNC Farm based out of Colorado.
Come and decorate the school's sidewalks in appreciation for our faculty/ staff to kick off Teacher Appreciation Week. Bring your whole family and chalk will be provided. Meet at the school at 6 pm on Sunday. See you there.
Don't forget the movie night tonight, April 25th, at 6:30 pm in the MES multipurpose room. Come and learn about the theme for teacher appreciation week, get your munchkin socks to wear and receive your April mileage club charm. This is a PTA sponsored event and all entries and free. Bring your own water bottle and a blanket, but popcorn will be provided.

We are finding so many coats that are being left at the school. After going through all of them and passing out the ones with names, the following three tables are left. Today is CCR day, the day that we hold parent-teacher conferences. The school release time has changed to release students at 12 pm. Lunch is still served for every student. Due to the continued winter storm, all Monticello schools will start at 10:00 am for Monday, January 8. All buses will be delayed two hours from their regularly scheduled time. There will be no breakfast being served but lunch will be served. Please check the district website often for possible updates.
