Dear Parents,


I thought that a quick note should be sent regarding your children being sent home with their Chromebooks/Packets. It is BES’ procedure that when there is a Winter Storm Warning for more than 6 inches of snow that is on the horizon we send Chromebooks/Packets home with students. If there is to be an actual Snow Day we would send you a message through this same platform that I am using right now. Most likely this would be done the morning of the virtual Snow Day. If you do not hear from the school, that means that school will be held as usual. We have been made aware of an issue with incoming calls from AT&T cell phones to our system. This is a problem that other businesses are also encountering. The problem is between Frontier and AT&T; they are aware of it and addressing it. We don't have an ETA on the repair.

The SJSD Board of Education and district administration would like to express appreciation to all stakeholders who completed our recent stakeholder surveys.
